KD/PR assists ACVB staff by escorting and assisting travel writers, writing copy for Wild News, writing and distributing in-state news releases, copywriting for brochures and other collateral and other special projects, as assigned.
KD/PR also was part of the team that helped to pass a hotel/motel bed tax increase in 2005, that will be used to expand convention center facilities in Anchorage. The expanded center will open in 2008. That project also won ACVB and its partners the "Best of Show" award at the 2005 PRSA Alaska Chapter Aurora Awards banquet.
